This sort of thing is deppressingly common. I recall reading about a right-wing group thinking an article from the Onion was real and running an attack piece based on it.

I agree.. we need to keep reminding ourself that the Communist Party cant even tell themself from the Democratic Party
Convention Discussion: What's the difference between the CPUSA and progressive Democrats? » cpusa

"What is the difference between the Communist Party USA and progressive Democrats?" Superficially, that is a good question, superficially: the CPUSA has worked to get Democrats elected, fought for health care reform with the public option, and embraced most of what organized labor has been doing.

Sorry but when the Communist Party cant tell themself apart from the democrats, it indeed needs bumped to remind everyone of this fact..

Ask the card-carrying socialists: Is Obama one of them? - CNN.com

From The Article:

"But Wharton, co-chair of the Socialist Party USA, sees no reason to celebrate. He's seen people with bumper stickers and placards that call Obama a socialist, and he has a message for them: Obama isn't a socialist. He's not even a liberal."

"It makes no rational sense. It clearly means that people don't understand what socialism is."

Ahh yeah, the lawsuit is a parody, but not the linkage, whats your point? That doesnt change the fact that its the COMMUNIST party linking them to Democrats, not us posters..

Convention Discussion: What's the difference between the CPUSA and progressive Democrats? » cpusa

Dont like it, call CPUSA to complain because I dont think we posters had anything to do with it..
