According to the title of this video from CBS News that is what the Tea Partys are all about. I failed to see any fury at all in the pictures CBS provided of the Party in Boston. Maybe I missed something.

Titles are attention grabbers and often have very little do with the actual content. Nothing new here.

Do you think this goon knows what the word, steeped, means? For some reason i really don't think he knows beyond left trying to discredit right and that is what is needed for Couric and him to keep their jobs.

Our current crop of leftist fanatics believe that the only reason their socialistic theories haven't worked, is because they haven't been leftist enough.

True also for the propaganda organs for those leftists such as CBS, NBC, CNN etc. The only reason the TEA parties etd. are still around, is because those "News" agencies haven't told us enough times, how fanatical, anger-driven, "confused", (insert your favorite denigrating smear here) and generally eeeevil they are. So the solution is more smearing and denigration.

The idea that people are no longer listening to these so-called "News" organizations, but are going in and seeing for themselves, never occurs to them (except possibly in nightmares). And people are getting a far different impression of the TEA parties from what the so-called "News" organs are trying to foist on us.

One of the silver linings of the dark cloud of the 2008 elections, was the self-destruction of these "News" organizations, which went so crazy trying to boost liberals instead of reporting the truth, that they shed most of their viewers. And they think that MORE biased reporting is the solution!

Keep up the good work, lefties....!!

so, you get what you put out there. teaparty folks go to "rallies" carrying all sorts of crazy and "confused" signs about President Obama, and you expect anyone other than FOX to ignore that?

how bout the teaparty lawsuits in florida? Yeah, that's real impressive. the teaparties are fighting each other. I don't think the "teaparties" are "evil" as you stated. They're seem to be just a confused bunch with a lot of free-floating anger.

who is the "goon"? see? That's the problem. you're doing it too. name-calling when you don't like something you read. you realize that name-calling is a major way to dehumanize a person, don't you?

those people are reporting what THEY SEE and WHAT THEY HEAR. I WANT to hear perspectives beyond FOX news.

I think there is a fair amount of fury there. I, for one, am absolutely furious that this administration seems intent on fatally weakening this country by its tax and spend policies. I think my fury is justified. Think of it this way: you're a parent sending your kid to college and you get him a credit card so that he can purchase what he needs for his schooling. Then you get the monthly bill and you discover that the kid has been abusing the card to the point that it is maxed out. You'd be furious, wouldn't you, and justifiably so. That's the fury that tea party people feel toward their profligate government. But what's even more infuriating is that there are some that say we have no right to be angry. That's like the college kid resenting his parents because they are angry at his irresponsibility. Yes, we're angry and we have a right to be.
