What does force to share mean? Is that like forcing a woman to have sex with you? I wish people would quit using euphemisms. It's not about "sharing" wealth, it's about stealing wealth.
All 10 are good ideas that could work if implemented. However, the wealthy hold most of the political power in this country, so will any of them come to pass? As long as we have fiscal conservatives in office, I rather doubt it. I don't know if we'll ever get the well-to-do to be a little more willing to part with their most prized possession. Our problem is, the rich vote for their own best interests, and then a myriad of middle and working class people who actually have very little money (or really none at all) vote with the rich. They're pawns. They're ignorant of the fact that they're voting against their own best interests; it's really quite sad. They oppose the proposals listed in the publication because they're not even aware that such changes would benefit them; in fact, they oftentimes think these changes would harm their economic future. These people aspire to be rich and successful, but most will never become either, because despite what we're all taught from childhood, not everyone can become highly successful or wealthy. You can be an extremely hardworking individual and yet remain a person of very modest means throughout your entire life. Actually, this describes most Americans. Indeed, most people, despite all of their efforts and hard work, live paycheck to paycheck; they have little to nothing to show for their labor.

it is always those who were unsuccessful financially that want to either take from others who were or preach about the doom of the country or the markets. they would like to see nothing more than everyone else to lose what they have so they feel better about their own lack of success.
perhaps grandpa should have spent less on pipes and tobacco and more investing in those things he hates.

Funny. I've never found the rich to stink. Very often I've found many of the so-called "poor" to stink because they are as indifferent to their personal hygiene as they are to their work ethic.
I'll give you one sure way which is why it will never happen. Do away with ALL taxes except for a national sales tax. They can avoid most taxes, but you get them when they spend some of that vast wealth, and they DO spend.
Imagine yourself rich, and all these people are calling you "stinking rich", you must share your wealth.
