Nike Slogan: Just do it! Chinese Translation: Have sex!

Taco Bell slogan: Head for the border. Chinese translation: Defect!

United Negro College Fund Slogan: A mind is a terrible thing to waste
Chinese translation: We waste our advertising money looking for negros in China

Ford slogan: Quality is job one. Chinese translation: We were concerned about quality in a previous job.

Falsehoods upon falsehoods competing with falsehoods. Still I think people could stand to tune their ear a little differently in the forum. Liberal and conservative cultures are vastly different from one another- even your versions of respectful are different.
