Why are all of you putting words in God's mouth? That's a little sacreligious and highly sanctimonious of you.

As Lincoln said (and I'm paraphrasing):

We ask not that God is on our side but that we are on God's side.

Don't be so obtuse. It is all in fun, surely God can recognize that.

God is neither a Democrat or Republican. He is above and beyond the two party political system in one nation. Yet for many non-religious Democrats, liberal politicians can become God like figures as they fill a spritual void. This would explain why so many secularists worship Obama in cult like fashion, at least they did during the 08 election maybe not so much today.

I agree this supreme entity is far above playing petty human politics but even the King of Kings has his way of doing things and those ways can be labeled and thereby compared to todays political ideologies.

God didn't "give us Hitler." Why would you write that?

I think God would be an independent

God wanted a low 10% tax rate and was violently pro-war, which would lead one to believe he was a Republican.

On the other hand, he had a child out of wedlock, which seems kind of a Democratic thing to do.
