This post is just downright rude & arrogant. So you're not gay? Yay, good for you! Now why should you care if anyone else is? Having such a loathsome attitude towards people who aren't heterosexual, not to mention being overly judgmental is foolish.

According to the 2007 Religious Landscape Survey, almost twice as many young adults say homosexuality should be accepted by society as do those ages 65 and older (63% vs. 35%).

From the poll

According to the poll, those who are under age 50, believe that homosexuality should be accepted as normal, by a margin of over 50%.

Just like segregation, sooner or later, those who hold onto the old ways, die out.

Yeah, but many of us will go out screaming and kicking.

I'll vote always wrong and immoral, but I would not sanction use of the laws to enforce it on anyone.

I believe sex outside of marriage is wrong also, but I don't support using the force of the state to enforce my views on anyone.

If an action does me no harm in one way or the other, I could care less.

I bet you don't think homosexuals accusing everyone of being a homosexual if they do not agree with it as rude and arrogant, do you?

I don't believe it is rude or arrogant to not embrace homosexuality as normal. I believe it is a mental disorder, a sexual perversion and was only declassified because of political pressure. All that changed was some paperwork.

As is always the case with tired, old, beaten discrimination.

Amen!
God bless those of us born after 1975!

We're the one who have to clean up the bs left to us by our parents and grandparents.

Conservatives and religious neo-cons are in for a rude awakening. Think about what percentages the Dems got from us in 2006 and 2008. Even this year the dems will most likely with milennial support 2-1.

I think this survey question is confusing, and your poll is too. Asking a heterosexual population if homosexuality is always wrong translates to 'is it acceptable for heterosexuals to engage in homosexuality'.

I'd answer that it's not acceptable for heteros to engage in what they are not. I'd also answer that homosexuals know better who they are than I ever will.

So a majority of Americans 45 and under find it not "always" wrong. Interesting.
