Whether you like him or not or think he is doing a bad job or good, does anyone think he should be compared to one of the most disgusting people of all time? Last I looked, Hitler ordered millions to be killed. He told lies and used propoganda to blame others for the problems of society.
I have seen pictures of Obama with the same mustache (photo shopped onto him) as that piece of sh-- and I wonder what the hell society is thinking. I hated Bush and I wouldn't even have referred to him this way. So what kind of idiotic comparison is this? Did people sleep for 8 years? Has anyone in the US recently killed millions that we didn't hear about? Anyone else seen these ridiculous posters?
I can understand it. Hitler ordered death squads in Eastern Europe, while Obama is ordering death panels for senior citizens. Kind of the same thing, you know?
Oh wait, death panels is sooo 6 months ago. Umm... Hitler practiced national socialism, while Obama practices socialism. And because both contain the word "socialism," they are exactly the same thing. That is why the socialists were Hitler's biggest allies.
Yeah, I noticed this too....I dont like Obama either and I want him gone ASAP...BUT, I noticed that now his opponents are just trying to stir the pot...they smell blood and they are going for the jugular so to speak.
I mean, Nazi, Hitler, Marxists, Tyrant, etc...thats a bit much..and dont get me wrong, I fully realize that the way to be an effective communicator is to use strong words that have strong imagery associated with them...but imo people are getting carried away with their dislike of the guy. I dont like him either, but Im not going to sit here and call him Hitler, and call him the organizer of the 3rd reich etc...thats just over the top

I personally like Obama but think his cures have been very slow and I have no problem with peoples opinions if they don't like him or want him out; but some people are really getting carried away.

Those idiots should compare Obama to Mao, Castro, and Chavez, not to Hitler.
But then, this sort of thing also puts him on the side of Hitler (in one of his speeches):
Quote:
“We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”
I'm just wondering when it's all gonna backfire. For Gingrich, the Waterloo was the budget standoff with Clinton and the "made me sit in the back of AF1" comment.
When will this rhetoric finally backfire? I know it will. You can only cry wolf so many times before people get downright tired of it.
The thing is that I think that Obama's opponents know that the nation is in a very vulnerable state. People are uneasy and pissed off and easily upset. So fear mongering is a logical tactic for his opposition, and he's an easy target...but the thing is that rational people arent stirred so easily...so while its easy to foment discord among the impressionable now, those same people will also be easily fomented by fear mongering when the next administration comes in...so thats where the manipulative rhetoric might come back to haunt his opposition.
I just think the "ummm remember who got us into this mess? Where were you Tea Partiers under Bush?" defense is SO EASY and I dunno why they don'y use it.
The Democrats suck so much at playing defense. And offense. It's pretty frustrating.
