Thanks for the website but really sid? I hope you are not obsessed with this thing. The worst thing people can do is take small storms like this as seriously as they do a cat 5 storm. At best it should just be a walk through drill to see if you are prepaired.

Nope I am not concerned, I am chilling; I just wanted to offer a suggestion to the readers because there are so many weather sources that do not give much information beyond the basics.
Typically we buy a lot of canned food and then by Thanksgiving give it away for food baskets once the threat is gone. Also I leaned not to buy water in gallon bottles because they can leak, ditto for bleach and that can do damage- I learned the hard way.
I did cut a lot of tree branches yesterday and made sure that my gutters were clean.

Great tips. We have a lot of soup in cans. It was on sale at Publix so we stocked up. You need some gallon jugs though to make ice just before the storm in that freezer you are going to buy LOL.

The freezer is on hold as I am getting significant push back from my wife. But we are filling with water whatever Tupperware will fit in the freezer compartment below the refrigerator.

Oh well you can always talk her into it if a storm is bearing down.
