You know I kind of doubt it. PSL is a very conservative place. Over 1/2 of the radio stations in the area are religeous. Not that there is anything wrong with having a nude beach, I just doubt the local community would entertain that kind of thing. Which is their perfect right.

I've heard rumors of a nudist/naturist beach... but I thought it was somewhere along Hutchinson Island between Jensen Beach and Fort Pierce.......

St Lucie Inlet is in Stuart. There is a remote area on the south side of the inlet, only accessible by boat or a long hike from Hobe Sound. So, anything could be possible. On the other hand, the Martin County SO's office regularly arrests people for lewd and lascivious behavior when they cavort around in the dunes.

I can't remember where I read this but some review guide for St. Lucie Inlet State Park mentioned to be aware of a nudist area south of the boardwalk that leads to the beach.

Yes,there is a clothing optional beach in between Jensen and Ft Pierce,on Hutchinson Island...just north of the powerpland.Its called Blind Creek Beach.You can either park in the parking lot and walk a good 5-10 mins south once you get on the beach...or you can park just south of the main parkinglot on A1A...there is actually an old trail just before a little bridge there.If you park on A1A,walk down the trail,your basically there once you hit the beach...just a min or two walk south.
Its very peaceful,and only a few people/couples go.People keep to themselves,and are usually laying out in like cubicle like private areas up in the dunes.

You'll see the odd woman or two sunbathing topless on the private hotel beaches between Fort Pierce and Jensen Beach but there are no dedicated nudist beaches in the area that I know of (I've lived in Ft. Pierce since 1972).

Yea go ahead and take it off. It is up by the Power Plant. Oh, make sure you make arrangements for someone to pick up your car and bail you out. NO NUDE BEACHES IN PSL.

I I think the clothing optional beaches can be obtained from the PSL police station. Just ask the clerk...

I know this message is old but if anyone I see along the coast of PSL is without clothing I will personally take pictures and phone the Police.....
