That would be "dudette"
Actually, I do take a lot of cod liver oil/vitamin A & D. I have no problem with glare without my glasses, my glasses are the culprit. But I can't see well enough to drive without them (head injury when I was 21 damaged my sight, I use to have 20/10 eyesight).
Use to love my contacts for the reason that I had no glare, just a slight halo around the headlights, but I can't afford them anymore.

Dontcha' just love people who give pop medical advice to people without knowing a thing about their individual health situations? Gotta love the Internet!

A friend of mine used to get her glasses through the Oregon Health Plan. I don't know if they still have that available now.

So Steve, did this ever happen?
Just wondering.

The way people go out of their way to look like crap and the horrible slow sleeping behind the wheel drivers.

no restrictions on leaf blowing! the neighbors can make a ton of noise 10 feet away from your open windows, and cover your patio furniture, car and everything else with a layer of dust, from the 20 foot high dust cloud of dirt. it can come in your windows while you're gone. There needs to be some DISTANCE restrictions on this! shouldn't allow it too near any neighbor's home.

it was good advice, and not just for her at all. i'm glad she already knows what i told her. a lot of people don't. it was also a suggestion, notice the word MIGHT. anyway, spreading knowledge around that is of benefit to the general public is a GOOD THING. not a bad thing.

It does get dark early here. some of that is the weather/ clouds. so a lot of people do have to drive in dimly lit conditions. That, and also lack of sunlight , on the skin and in the eyes ( light effects health) are some things that do effect people's health and well being in Portland. There are studies done here on the effects of low sunlight. So knowing some appropriate self care is a plus.
