Sorry about the Black and Orange I am more of an Green and Yellow fan myself.

But as an Oregon Resident most of the time I support both teams and I am a Platypus (Duck Billed and Beaver Tailed)

My Copyrighted © Jersey wearing Platypus.

But back to the subject ...

When the summer got so dry for such a long spell I said this would be a winter with a lot of white.

Dry Summer?

I thought that this summer was completely normal as far as rainfall.
Almost text-book.

There have been drier and hotter ones in the past that didn't have crappy winters associated with them.....

I haven't tried 'em.

The winters here get just the right amount of snow around Christmas to add to the season ......

Last Year ... I am looking forward to it. We get some every year I have been here. We are only at 400 feet ASL

Last winter here on the mountain, at 2000', it snowed 8" on Dec 20, & about 8" on Jan 10. Those were the only two times it snowed here...

We get the coastal moisture and the valley cold so we get just the right amount of snow to make it pretty without getting buried.
