First time poster on this forum. As you can see from my moniker i live on Scholls Ferry Road off Snow Goose Lane....curious if anyone else lives on Scholls Ferry Road. My family and I were really attracted to the neighborhood and school district. We absolutely love the neighborhood/proximity of shopping/safety etc...but i was curious if anyone has the same experience as us. We love the neighborhood but absolutely abhor the traffic. Constantly trucks racing by, occasionally sirens, just traffic it seems like 24/7. Very heavy in the mornings and nights. It really puts a damper on our experience hear and before moving in, traffic during our visits did not seem that bad. I rarely venture in the yard because it is so noisy, and have to use all sorts of device to properly drown out road noise from the house. Just wondering if anyone else having this bittersweet experience? We love our home, neighborhood, neighbors...but boy that road really sucks.

anyone going throught what we are going through please feel free to post. Also today i noticed that there was a truck detour for barrows road through scholls. If this steps up the already obnoxious truck traffic i don't know what i am going to do!! Our main complaints are those darn semis and dump trucks...those noisy/smelly diesels are the worst.

apart from all that though...like i said we love living here!
