Out of curiosity I looked at a 4 star daycare where I live to get an actual number instead of a guess - $182/week for infants! Yikes that's expensive!

Hi, Im an Advanced Doula (Labor Coach) Midwifes, Assistant and Student Midwife, I've helped over 300 women to deliver, in-hospital, out of the hospital- home and birth center births. Do you still have questions? Where are you located? What's your wife's birth plan? And, I HIGHLY recommend Breastfeeding, it is MUCH better for the baby. You can make homemade formula but it is quite time consuming. I can give you a couple of blogs for recipes. Cloth diapers are awesome, if you're in Southern California, "Dy Dee Diaper Service". Feel free to ask questions. Best! Claudia

not a mom but am an aunt and I have a question regarding breastfeeding.
How much breast milk is the baby actually getting each time they nurse?

I question this because my sis-in-law only nurses my 3 month old neice for about 5-10 minutes. I was visiting a few days ago when the mom was at work. My brother(the dad) asked me to get the baby one of the bottles the mom had pumped breast milk into. There were 3 bottles for the day and each one had about 2 ounces of breast milk. Is that really enough per feeding for the entire day the mom is at work?
