Suh is allegedly going to Miami.

Report: Ndamukong Suh to leave Lions, sign with Dolphins

Time for everyone on the D to show their mettle. I am in the camp that believes Suh was a major factor in the Lions success on the D-line. Here's to the rest showing us what they can do without Suh.

I'm sure the Lions can manage without Suh, but not with the same plays. It's going to be a lot harder to get any sacks with just a 4-man rush.

Lions get tackle Haloti Ngata from Ravens

Seems the Lions might not miss Suh too much.

Um yes we will. Dumb (Lewand) and dumber (mayhew) have once again shown that you don't need smarts to be in charge of an organization. Those two retards are not even fit to manage a fast food joint. We are going to be battling the Vikings for the last place in the NFC north. Nuff said.

It's always sad to read about the passing of a legend.

Thankfully, there are things to brighten the day. Take DeAndrea Levy traveling in Peru for example:

So it begins...

I flirted with the idea of making a trip to San Diego for the game but opted to stay put in Phoenix to conserve funds for another trip next month.

I was browsing the Sports Illustrated NFL season preview issue and they've predicted the Lions to go 6-10. A major factor in this prediction was the loss of Suh. While he was a major loss, I think the Lions can retain their astute defense and can possibly challenge Green Bay for the NFC title. At the very least, a Wild Card run would be okay. No more old time Lions. Time to step up and keep momentum moving forward.

Drafted Ameer Abdullah late in my fantasy and I am starting him in the flex position. He's predicted to outscore by, at least 1 point, each available player on my bench. The coaching staff is looking for him to play a roll in the passing game as well as ample time running the rock.

My prediction for Sunday:

Lions 27 Chargers 17

Well Bondurant, your prediction looked good at halftime. While the defense wasn't sharp, we had a major problem sustaining drives after the shotgun start. We sucked in the second half. Good teams bounce back from a sloppy loss on the road.

Let's see what happens next week.
