Surprised that it's only Tuesday night and I have football withdrawal blues.

I was incredibly surprised by Cam Newton's performance as well.
Not surprised at how the Giants performed against the Redskins. In fact, the Giants, since preseason began, I have adjusted my expectations way down, due to player injury, and lack of free agency movement.
The Raiders managing to beat Denver at home despite having the worst starting QB in the NFL in Jason Campbell. Thank God for Darrin McFadden! (I'm a Raider fan.)
Chad Henne looking like a seasoned pro and showing signs of briliance against the New England D.
Excuse me for nit-picking, OP, but...the Jets were one of the teams that lost their opening game? Oh wait--they were playing in Dallas, which must mean that you lose even if you manage to outscore the Cowboys.

The Jets were behind the Cowboys when I went to bed 24 to 10 and it didn't look good for them at the time. I put in my original post before I found out they rallied back in the second half and actually beat the Cowboys( I am no fan of theirs)-my mistake. However truth to be told I am happy the Jets came back and beat the Cowboys- good job ,guys.
