Very interesting. So if I bet at 9am with a given line, that's the bet no matter how many times the bookie moves the line? So that later bettors will have a different line than I have?
Right. No one is going to place a bet if the line can change on them.

The early line in the Superbowl had the right team favored --- Seattle by 2 1/2 points. Peyton ManIA hit fast with lots of money on Denver. The line quickly went to what it ended up at, Denver by 2 1/2.
That means early bettors on Denver were happy, early bettors on Seattle not happy.

Not making sense. If Seattle wins, Denver bets are happy because Seattle got way more than a 2 1/2 point marging? That's kinda twisted. Learning way more here than I ever thought. What if I placed a bet of Seattle by 40?

You are not understanding. You are generally just betting on who wins the game with the point spread factored in. You aren't betting on a team winning by X number of points that isn't the spread. Not saying you couldn't possibly make a bet like that, but that is not a normal bet.
The comment also had nothing to do with the outcome of the game. It had to do with how the spread moved before the game. Think of it in basic terms.
Let's say you want to bet on Seattle to win. Would you be happier before the game if you had to give 2.5 points away or if you were getting 2.5 points?

Well, I'm sorta staggering through this as a nonbetting person (one $2 bet on a horse race in my life). How can I bet to collect when Seattle wins by 35 points? Is that simply not what any bookie will put out there?
You can bet on margin of victory - it's more of a prop bet than one of the traditional ways to bet the game which would be either against the spread or you could use the money line to just pick a winner
Here is an interesting article about the SB
100-1 odds of Seattle winning between 34 and 38 points would have been nice to collect on

You could actually MAKE that bet? Seems reasonable odds to me.
