This team has a lot of upside. They made the playoffs last year with a depleted team. I like the Coleman pickup and I'm wishy washy on Benjamin. Part of me thinks he may have been a flash in the pain. The injuries, which likely also contributed to the weight gain, are a bit disconcerting. The receivers need to stay healthy to give McCoy more of a breather, since he's approaching the wrong side of 40.
This team needs to build on what they did last season, which was game management. Keep moving the ball down the field, but don't give up too many points on the other side either.
Allen is looking okay. Hope he gets the start in the third pre-season game. With McCarron injured (never liked him anyway) it's between him and Peterman for the starting job for week one.
The LT looked troublesome. Dawkins looked like a turnstile which may have let to McCarrons injury. Center looks unsettled too. If they move Groy to center who will play LG? Lets see how Allen plays in the next few games.
I expect Peterman to be announced as the starter for week one. He has consistently played the best of the three. He’s more mobile than McCarron who would be a sitting duck behind this bad o-line. He’s more decisive in his decision making then the rookie. His only real flaw is a clear lack of arm strength. Especially on out routes.
The OL is a disaster. We lost our 3 best linemen, 2 to retirement and 1 was traded. I think Tyrods elusiveness covered up some of the failings last year.

I think that could definitely be the case. Although missing our starting guard and center to retirement does not help either. I do think our line looks the best with Peterman behind it though too. He will be able to better cover up it's weaknesses with his combination of mobility and quick decision making. We will just have to learn to live with an INT every now and then from him.
