Three-dimensional television is becoming all the rage and Panasonic has jumped on the bandwagon. Its newest entry, the TC-P50VT20 in its Viera line, is an impressive set to see. It is a television set that features the use of two video channels to create the best 3D images possible.

The set works with one of the most impressive technological processes in the industry. It works to create two channels of fifty inch 1920x1080p video signals. Each eye will use each channel.

The glasses that are needed for allowing a person to view the 3D images on the set are easy for anyone to handle. They can fit onto the face with ease. However, the problem with these glasses is that the television set comes with only one of these pairs of glasses. It will cost extra for a person to get more than one pair of glasses.

While it is true that more people will want to get 3D television sets the truth is that this set does more than just create 3D images. For example, the set works with the Viera Cast feature. This works to allow a user to access one's Netflix account, access Pandora online radio channels and connect with a variety of different websites. The functionality of the set is one of the best things to see about this set.

Skype transmissions are also available. A user can communicate with others through the Skype video conferencing system. The set will work with a TV-CC10 camera and a broadband connection. These are easy to handle and easy to install. However, this type of camera is relatively tough to find.

One of the best parts of this set is that it is an Energy Star certified set. This is important due to how so many plasma television sets have been criticized over the years for taking up too much energy. The set will work with about 140 watts of energy when it is on. This is about half of what a typical fifty inch television set of this kind would use. This is an especially impressive number considering the 3D technology that it works with.

The TC-P50VT20 set is available for about $2500. It may be a challenge to find though because it is not directly available from Panasonic. It is best to search around different stores in one's area to find this set for one's needs.
