Frigidaire FRT8G7H top-freezer refrigerator

Rating: 3 out of 5
  • Currently 3.0/5.0

The Frigidaire FRT8G7H top-freezer refrigerator is a much smaller refrigerator that has most of the basic features of any other refrigerator, but doesn't have a lot of the more convenient and genuinely useful features that more upscale and high-end refrigerators do. If you just need a small refrigerator for say, the pantry or a dorm room, this is probably the best choice, as it is rather inexpensive and free of extra features.

The Frigidaire FRT8G7H top-freezer refrigerator is less than 30 inches wide total, so this is also another good refrigerator if you have an apartment and are looking for a refrigerator. It's best for one person, or a couple at the very most, but definitely not a good choice for families. It has just under 20 cubic feet of space all together, which isn't much at all, with the freezer having under 5 cubic feet of space, and the fresh foods having just a little more than 14 cubic feet of space. Another disadvantage of this model is that it isn't really energy efficient, as it takes about 479 kWh of electricity every year, costing over $50 - much more than other larger, and high quality refrigerators.

The Frigidaire FRT8G7H top-freezer refrigerator has only a few features - a clear dairy department, three full-width shelves, a fresh foods compartment with two adjustable glass shelves, crispers with humidity control, and a clear snack drawer. The refrigerator is also very basic in overall design, with two door shelves and a white wire shelf in the freezer. Being the size that it is, of course the Frigidaire FRT8G7H top-freezer refrigerator doesn't come with an automatic ice maker - where would it fit? It has temperature controls for the fridge, freezer and fresh foods compartments.

The Frigidaire FRT8G7H top-freezer refrigerator is available in white, bisque and black, and is defintley best for small homes or a second home fridge.
