Singer and songwriter Debbie Gibson once said something interesting during an interview. At a very young age, she was playing notes on a piano and experienced a moment of clarity.

She said (paraphrased): "Working with that piano went beyond: 'This is what I want to be.' It was more like: 'This is what I am.'"

I was wondering if anyone here has ever felt that. I'm glad for her and anyone who can have a moment like that, especially as a young person. As for me, I might have come somewhat close, but on second thought, no, not really. Would I like to have a similar/profound moment of clarity? Oh, absolutely!

I had a "somewhat" similar thought about Elizabeth Hurley once while vacationing in LA. But, my belt loop got hung up on her fence and her security detail kicked the living crap out of me.

My favorite quote came from a man "If I couldn't trust my own mother, what makes you think you can fool me too." His mother insists to this day that she lost her son to Diana. When she asked why, he told her she was unworthy of being his mother. He insisted she was far too weak to be his mother. Others insisted that his mother could be Athena. Carl Jung the famous psychologist talked of the humiliation & shame of having a weak mother who was unstable with no backbone.

The problems with giving a man nothing in life. In the end he will have everything. The lesson, to survive this world you have to do it without a mother or father. Behind every man is a woman, she abandoned him so she has nothing in the end.

The best things in life are free. They also nothing in life is free. This explains why this world is upside down.
