Is it just intuition, sixth sense or something else? I understand if its a trip you are planning & have seen pictures of that place but what if its a town or place you have never visited or seen in pictures before? What is this phenomenon called?
Dreams and their meanings are so interesting to me, and I was just trying to remember if I've had "precognition" before, and I think I have. As a young child (early elementry school) I had a dream about living in a different place, particularly one where the rooms had yellowing white walls and thick, dark brown trim around the doors. Four years ago I moved to Kentucky, where I had never even visited before, let alone lived, and I was lying on the floor of my new apartment (which was an old Victorian era apartment) looking up at the walls and they were just like the ones I dreamed about years ago! I had almost forgotten about that dream. It might be part of the reason why I was oddly comfortable moving to a city I had never heard of and where I knew no one.
I think everyone has the 'premonition' ability to some extent. Its quite interesting. I usually use this site dreammoods.com to interpret my dreams. Very accurate.
I've had quite a few dreams all through my life that became reality, nothing life altering but enough to make you wonder how our brain works and puts things together...I guess all that trying to make sense of things all day long has it stumped at times and it fabricates stuff. Like optical illusions, even when we know what we see is wrong, the brain tries to tell us it's right..
