I have "states". Like a way of existing in that moment. I hardly ever think. And feelings come and go depending on what's happening. Right now my state is "uncomfortable". Before, it was "uneasy"...a couple days ago it was "overzealous".

idk, I miss my thoughts. Though mostly stupid, at least the silence was filled. Feelings...yeah, those too..at least I knew I was living (not not biologically, I mean).

Sometimes, when I'm clearing my mind, I can ask myself something and myself will answer me. Usually, I'll ask something like "Will you talk to me tonight?" to which I'll get the answer "What do you want to talk about?" almost as if I'm bothering myself...

The first time I was answered back, I was shocked.

Sometimes I'll "hear" something random and immediately attribute it to someone who isn't me. Almost like eavesdropping on someone else's thinking. The most recent example is an elderly women...whether or not those are her actual thoughts or just my attempt at piecing together her thoughts, I do not know.

I think the worst is when I hear myself pleading with myself to not do something...but only as I'm doing it. I'll hear "Stop, please...no...", then I'll stop confused and ask myself what the problem is. After realizing what it is, I'll do it, or not, but the pleading will be gone.

As I've walked by people, I've asked people to look at me if they can hear me. Not once has that happened.

I'm reasonably certain that all voices are my own. The one is the one conscious, and the other is perhaps reasonably conscious, and those that aren't "me" is just me giving voice to others in my life I think should have one in it. I have no delusion that it's not my own human essence that these voices are.

I say voice, but they all sound the same. I think the word "state" fits better. Maybe "ways" of "it" where "it" is living (not biologically, I mean).

Just words...mine, mine, and of others...and a body to go with it.

The universe is weird. I think it was a red headed comedian, Louie, who said something like "the universe goes inside forever, and then it goes outside forever as well". It's the truth...inside or out, we have yet to hit a limit. Maybe we should.

I'm certainly not a mental health professional and you certainly should have a conversation with someone who is.

I don't know that there is anything particularly wrong with you. Lots of people do the things you mention but they do not disclose this information to others. I think people would be quite shocked to learn just how normal this behavior is.

I'm certain that doctors have tried to put you on all manner of prescriptions to "fix" you. Has anyone ever inquired about your diet? Do you eat well? B-Vitamins, Vitamin D and minerals are so important to proper brain functioning. If you are concerned about this, and obviously you are or you wouldn't have mentioned it, my advice would be to seek out a good holistic or naturopathic practitioner in your area and have a nutritional assessment done to see what your body is lacking. It might make all the difference in the world.

Get out of the house and talk to real people. Way too much time alone.

What you have written is an essay of thinking, so you have many thoughts... a stream of consciousness post.

That is what I thought about your post. You were doing critical thinking.

Google "Internal Family Systems Theory." Sounds like you describe it to a tee. Not crazy, just aware of your internal "parts."

So you went to a professional and you are arguing with the diagnosis? So you go to a forum and ask a bunch of strangers?

Get a second opinion from a PROFESSIONAL

I'm not asking you, I'm telling you my reality. Just so you can reflect on it...relate to it, or not, take it for what it is, or not...

As for the diagnosis...honestly, if you go to a professional and tell them the truth, they'll come up with some label for you...
