Some "experts" believe that extreme porn use can become addictive and can result in unsatisfying real life sexual experiences.
If that is true, then it would be a direct result of a guy watching porn and then:
Not being able to secure women in the real world that are either as hot or hotter than the women he has seen in porn.
And, if or when he is able to hook-up with a woman that is attractive enough to get his interest when compared to some of the gorgeous women he has seen in porn - she does not do things that he has seen done in porn.
Basically, after witnessing the true potential of a man's sexual possibilities within the realm of porn and then not being able to experience most or all of that in real life, I could see how a guy might become unsatisfied with his 'real life' sexual experiences.
But the same scenario could occur with someone that watches a lot of science fiction movies. Like for example, if a guy is a die hard Star Wars fan and becomes addicted to the storyline behind it. He might find himself here everyday in the real world, while simultaneously fantasizing about flying an X-Wing fighter a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. His real life might eventually seem boring as he constantly longs for similar adventures as he witnessed in Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
That is understandable.
However: science fiction worlds, Jedi Knights and intergalactic battles are not real or possible. . . .
What occurs in porn between two consenting adults is in fact possible. A guy just needs to find the right woman that is capable of taking things to the next level of orgasmic evolution. Like what women do in porn. Only a handful of women that I have been with could be considered porn-qualified, and during those relationships things were turned on 24/7. In none of those situations were any of the women I was with directly influenced by porn - none of them ever mentioned watching it, they were just comfortable with their own sexuality.

Great insight. Everyone, male & female should step their sex game up.
They get some weird ideas/views from it and think women can do that/look like that. Of course guys won't admit it.
Some women DO look like that, some women CAN do "that", whatever that is. Porn has raised the stakes on what is expected sexually of women, as a man I say GOOD. Sex in the 1950s must've been so boring, there was barely any porn and no sex toys! I've heard women in the 80s were much less giving, and blowjobs were far rarer than today, we've come a long way and I say keep pushing it! Porn went mainstream ages ago y'know. Modern men have gotten screwed over and short-changed in so many other areas, any man who settles for a frigid prude is a fool or they just don't care enough about sex. Part of my life's mission is to have as many remarkable sexual experiences as possible.
As for your original question, I'll stick with my old stand-by I think I've used here before: "You get used to a wife". That's WHY. It's a question of, does a woman want her man to cheat, or just watch porn now and then and get some good fantasy time in?
Porn can never take the place of real life interaction with the opposite sex.
^ I certainly wasn't implying that it could. But from a woman's pov, and imo, terrible sex w/ a wack partner is no better than getting the job done yourself. With the right partner, yes, of course, sex can surely be more wild than some of the porn I watch. lol (And on top of that, emotionally satisfying.)
Likely the guy would rather watch porn because he has a porn addiction or finds the porn more appealing/attractive than his partner be it from physical attraction or appeal in sexual actions she doesn't do or doesn't do with as much as perceived enthusiasm the porn stars do. I find it's not really about sexual pleasure but ego boost when it comes to guys choosing porn over sex as it seems sex is solely or mostly about the male pleasure so it's not like in my opinion he's getting shortchanged when it comes to sex as it seems gals generally do and even more so as porn has now seemingly placed even more emphasis on solely/mainly pleasing males.
Porn is 100% fantasy. SCRIPTED sex in front of a camera. Many of the actors are intoxicated and/or high on some type of drug. It is all acting.
Many of the lines are scripted, yes, and delivered with bad acting, but the people are actually having sex in front of the camera. You make it sound like they're just acting as if they're having sex.

That much is obvious, yes. I don't think many people would claim that porn is the same as actual human interaction.
