We have all been through horrible things, and life is hard. However, humor is one way to cope and make oneself feel better. Haven't you ever heard how beneficial laughter is for us? None of us are people who would complain about a bad hair day in front of cancer patients. Don't read a humor thread if you don't want to laugh.

Sorry, well I would hope none of us would. And now I have to get off this infernal thing because my husband is taking me away for the weekend. One more thing to deal with! He forgets that packing is stressful.

Well you know, you kind of should be sorry because it is annoying that other first worlders who were born speaking the same language use slang that doesn't make sense to us and then we have to waste time figuring out what you mean?
It is not obvious that take away means they deliver. Take away should mean you go there, get it and take it away like we go there, get it and take it out. Delivered items is simple. Its either delivery or delivered in. Why do you Brits have to make things so complicated and non-obvious to Americans.
