I wanted to take cardboard and newspaper to the recycling center today but it's raining and the stuff will get wet in the back of my truck. I won't go tomorrow or Sunday because the lines are too long. So I have to wait until Monday.
I also wanted to put away my goose decoys and take the rest of my equipment to the storage unit, but it's raining. And I can't find a couple of things that need to go. Mrs. NBP probably moved them and won't be able to remember where she put them.
Going to the grocery store is a pain. Everything is either organic, natural, GMO, gluten free, antibiotic free, yadda, yadda, yadda. Sounds nice and healthy right? Well sure, if you want to pay double -- everything is "free" except the food. You wont believe what I paid for those cage free tomatoes!
Speaking of shopping choices, I am always confused when looking at the dark chocolate these days. Do I want 70%, 80%, or 90% cacao? What if I choose the wrong one and don't like it?
Usually I just have natural, whole grain breads in the house, but I had to buy a loaf of Sunbeam white bread for some sort of bread pudding recipe, but I only have to use part of it in the recipe. This leaves half a loaf of "light bread" in my house. Should I eat it?
