I don't understand why people would even want to try to make ice cream, when you can just buy it. Somewhere along the way, some marketing person decided that if people like eating something, it would be "fun" to make it and then eat it. Nope. I leave it to the professionals.

I love cheese, so someone once bought me a book and kit on cheesemaking. Nope. Sold it at a yard sale.
I love pizza. Someone at work was selling make-your-own-pizza kits for a charity, but I declined to buy one, just gave a donation.
My ex loves pie. His family once bought him a pie pan with a book of pie recipes. It's on a shelf.
Lots of people love beer, but I would never buy them a home brewing kit unless they specifically said they wanted to learn to make beer.

Now it's considered "fun" to make one's own ice cream?

My toothbrush with the "nonslip" grip is much harder to hold on to than the ones with the "regular" squared-off handles, in my opinion. I get irritated every time I use it.

I smell a new Horders episode.

When I wonder why my trash isn't picked up in the morning like the recycling is, trash comes around 1-2PM.

Tree pollen all over cars. Tons of it. Like a sci-fi movie or something.

Apparently so, but it wasn't much fun to me.

Today's first world problem for me is this: I can buy the same item on eBay that I can on Amazon, for less money. But the shipping time is twice as long. Sigh.

I make my own ice cream. There are electric mixers now so you don't have that old turn the handle until your arm falls off thing going, so it's not that much of a hassle.

You would immediately fall in love with me if you'd eat some of my ice cream. Unless you had a heart attack from the ingredients first.

My Dyson is not picking up the pollen very well, so I was forced to spend $79. On a new floor attachment.

Ah yes, toothbrush problems. I've got one of those sonic toothbrushes. Great to just hold it against your teeth and let the toothbrush do its job.

But I've got a habit of hitting my teeth on the back of the brush. Not so great when you've got a piece of plastic hammering against your teeth. At least it wakes me up, I suppose.

Speaking of toothbrushes, I still don't know why I can't buy toothbrushes in tasteful colors that go with my bathroom décor, instead of bright, neon, multi-colors. Why not tan, taupe, cinnamon, or sage green?
