I like all weather in moderation. I get burned out on stretches of gloomy days, but the occasional rainfall or thunderstorm is nice. Snow is charming in isolated occasions, but gets old when it's constant. It's okay to break up a string of sunny days with a cozy grey one once in a while.

Variety matters.

It means you should move to a place, like Washington state, where it rains a lot. Why do you think WASHING is part of the word????

I wonder the same, though for me it extends to more than rain. I love the colder weather as well. I have SAD (seasonal affective disorder) but I am one of the 10% that has it in reverse. I get depressed in summer and more happier/positive in winter. I love the rain, but to me its more than some visual psychological event. Someone here mentions they love cleaning when it rains. For me when there is a change in the weather and its now rainy or even better stormy, I definitely have a motivational pickup. I find it mentally stimulating. I think clearer, breath deeper, feel more positive, get more done. If its cold and pissing down with rain, then I do tend to go out and socialize less now as I've go older.
Its bizarre. I think its because of the negative ions in the atmosphere, or it cleans the air of pollution/pollen/grasses. It would have been good if I was born in vancouver. lol

i see rain as nourishment for the earth, and playing in the rain never hurts us any. i joke that when it rains it is because the earth is thirsty. i love the sound of when it is raining, i love how i get to snuggle up in a blanket and be relaxed when it is raining (a good book and a cup of tea)

It means you should move to Phoenix. Or, better yet, Arica, Chile.
