In high school and college, my friends and I would go to the video store and pick out a movie that looked terrible, and give it the MST3K treatment. We had a blast and thought we were hilarious, but I don't think I would do that if I thought someone was legitimately enjoying the bad movie or was sharing something that they actuallly loved.

Well, just keep in mind........some of us never watched MST3K but, more than that......that's one of the nails in the Sci Fi Channel coffin....their pop up comments on the day time television in the 90s such as with The Bionic Woman, "Fembots in Las Vegas" and ........ "Get ready for a 70s fashion statement!".......and yes, I never watch, throughly despise Austin Powers.

Didn't they realize that people were trying to watch these shows for entertainment and not to "see" some nameless, invisible person who thought they were funny?

Hence, one of the reasons why I don't listen to talk radio, people saying things who think they are funny......or turned off the talking heads on TV.

One would think they would eventually get the clue.

I see things in the opposite direction people seem to have 'special needs' when it comes to 'entertainment'.

That being said some just take something like a tv show in stride. They don't over analyze it. It's just a thing. Too many want to turn their entertainment into their fine wine like it's special or something.

At the end of the day we’re all ultimately headed towards the same fate, so there’s nothing wrong with finding pleasure (entertainment) in the simple things. I’m sure such people are very content and that’s a good thing,

Gotta love those people who claim not to own a TV or to never watch it or to watch only "educational" television on it. Of course, now that everyone carries around a "smart" phone, they can surreptitiously watch all the crap they want while looking like they're busily working on something important...

She may just see "The Bachelor" for what it is. A PG rated erotic teaser that's fit for the FCC to allow on regular television. It's showbiz. Nothing more. File this show, as "entertainment only".

Ha, yes. There's usually others out there who think alike about, "entertainment". Don't know what was on after Charmed.

Just in the "end credits" for Charmed, he was usually advertised.
