Yes ... but I like breaking bottles better (not that I get the chance to much these days).

I was reading an article on ASRM and it made me think of bubble-popping. But it doesn't seem like the same thing.

This article explains it, suggesting it alleviates fidgeting. But I'm not a fidgeter. I just like to pop!

What about you?

I love doing that! I am not a fidgeter either. At least it doesn't mean you are prone to murder.

I enjoy popping them. So do both of my kids. But my wife doesn't like the noise, so we do it when she's not in the room.

It doesn't do anything to me either way (like I don't enjoy it in particular but it doesn't bother me if someone else does it). And I am a fidgeter; I have a ton of nervous energy that people mistake for them startling me. I love picking scabs. That feels satisfying to me. To each their own I suppose.

I like the BIG ones especially, but the sound freaks out my little dog, who is my shadow. So, I have to hide in the garage to get my fix.

Pop pop pop yes. Used to love popping the mini bubbles by grabbing and twisting and when I was little kid, My dad would save that type and bring it home. I would go in the basement and he would have piece of plywood I could lay it on and either jump up and down on them or whack them with a rubber mallet for maximum effect.

The new super size plastic pillow bubbles are a whole different tact. If we get something at work and the person fills up the recycle bin with them I go Norman Bates on them (when no one else is around - LOL, lest my co workers get the wrong idea ). I dislike it very much when people fill up the recycle bin without deflating the plastic air pillow type packaging. Besides popping them in the work place would be rude.

Tangential topic.

Did anyone else ever do the create your own paper pops by taking pages from old telephone books and folding first twice and making small corner tear. Then opening back up and doing the tri fold once and then tri fold again with one 'sleeve' into the other to create a blow up (into the hole you made) and pop paper?

I think this was a one of those 70s things akin to collecting the old style pop can tabs and making long connecting chains for fun. I think it was an elementary school age fad. It worked real well with that thin telephone paper and certain newsprint paper. I think one summer I drove my siblings crazy doing it until the novelty wore off a few weeks later.

I enjoy popping bubble wrap, but I can resist and most of the time, I do. I have more important things to fidget with, bubble wrap is not even on the list lol..

But no, I never liked it, even the smaller ones - which I rarely see any more.
I've resorted to using scissors on those big ones, no pop sounds there.

I'm absolutely addicted to it. OTOH, it does take up a lot of room in the garbage, so it's a win-win.

oh yeah! Fun fun fun. I was more into popping bubble wrap when my kids were little and the bubble wrap was different. Now, not so much. To me, the big ones from Amazon aren't as much fun.
