The packages are still sitting over there. Nobody stole anything.
According to post #35 relatives of yours ripped open the packages and left the stuff. Now your family members are vandals and litterbugs instead of thieves!
Mod note: post #s have changed due to deletions from the thread.
"It's not treasure, it's crap."
(Don't know why I felt so sure about that, but I did. Maybe because I never win in games of chance, so gambling of any kind holds no lure for me at all.)
And because I thought that, I figured what I'd have done is called the post office and told them about two parcels sitting outside of a warehouse you know to be totally abandoned. I'd have given them the address and let them come and deal with it.
Or I might have picked them up and taken them and dropped them off at a post office and explained what the deal was.
Then I got to your post about seeing them opened up and I was like, "Yup. I was right. Crap."
/shrug...well, now you know. Nothing of value to even be worth anybody's time getting it to some appropriate place. Funny they got returned to an old Amazon warehouse, usually if you try to do a return process on crap that isn't worth anything much, they'll just refund you and tell you not to bother sending it back.
They're kind of in my lane because I'm one of the few people who walk back there, bro.
Call Amazon and let them know so maybe someone will come and collect them and maybe resolve a lost package issue. I know you want to open them and hopefully keep whats inside but it's not yours so If it was me I would call Amazon.
About a month ago, while doing my Sunday morning litter pick up, I found a package of pills delivered by Amazon to the company across the street from the old Amazon warehouse.
Apparently, the delivery person threw the package out the window, against the building, where they sat all night in the open.
Instead of walking away, I threw them over their fence, into their yard, and checked Monday morning to make sure they got them. They were very grateful.
