We'll the results are in...... I love it! Even in this heat wave my hair is pin straight. I literally don't even blow it straight. I pretty much let it dry by itself & then just blow it upside down for a minute. I would definitely recommend the Rejuvenol treatment. Not all the Brazilian Keratin hair trratments are the same. I did have to buy the Rejuvenol shampoo & conditioner ($15.00 each) & only use that to wash my hair & never use any products containing sodium chloride. As far as how long it will last only time will tell but they say 6 months.

deanes3- I am glad you are happy with your results! I had one done in May... right around Mother's Day in the Cary area and the salon I went to was reasonably priced and even included the Rejuvenol Shampoo and Conditioner in the price of the treatment. It has now been a month and a half. My hair is still very smooth, but I can feel the change starting to occur.... hmm, we will see! Not sure if I will do it again or not on top of my other monthly hair expenses ;-)

Well, when I went to the salon to have the treatment done my hairstylist actually talked me out of doing it. She said after doing it a couple months she has found that most of the people haven't been happy with the results so she saved me some money and I decided not to get it done.

I had the Brazilian Blowout done this past week at Lizmichaels Hair Studio in Apex. It is formaldahyde free, I don't think the Keratin one is, my stylist said they did do the Keratin one but discontinued it due to safety. I love my BB! It also came with the shampoo and conditioner to use. My hair feels so silky and soft.

I had the Rejuvenol Brazilian Keratin Treatment done in May, still loving it. Bought the special Sodium / Sulfate Free Shampoo online before having treatment done and you can use your normal conditioner. I do NOT have curly hair, just frizzy and lots of gray I color, this has REALLY made a difference in my hair. Sucks not to wash your hair for 4 days but so worth it!!

My salon is Heavenly Beauty Salon and Spa - Hair Salon and Spa in Knightdale, NC in Knightdale - I LOVE Rosa Jones, have been going to her over 6yrs now and follow here wherever she goes, even Knightdale, her prices are great compared to Raleigh too. If you call her just tell her Cindy Golden referred you, she runs specials often too, ask what they are - last month was 5 free foils w/ your color - so I got some free highlights.

What a coincidence--I just came back today to resurrect this old thread, and found that it was already up and running. Can anyone else give updates about their keratin treatment? I've heard success stories and horror stories, so I really want to know if people have local sources that they recommend. I live in Apex but am willing to travel a bit for really great service!

I just got another Brazilian Blowout today. Twisted Scizzors Salon and Spa is offering a special for the month of August. 150.00 for the service this month!! I paid 300.00 the last time I had it done. So glad I found a place that does it cheaper. The number is 303-7775
