Can anyone recommend where to go for the Brazilian Keratin Hair straightening treatment near Apex/Cary, & can you also give me an idea of how much they charge?
Thanks!

Not near Cary, but the salon I go to does it- Samuel Cole off Six Forks Rd. I think it is around $300 for the treatment.

I know Salon EnV does in Apex. I am going to have it done in July there. It is around $200-300.

Please let us know how it turns out! I keep reading so many different things about this treatment that it's hard to know what to expect.

I've had the Brazilian Blowout done at Samuel Cole. My hair is medium length and it was $315. But mine was the 90 minute, you can wash the same day, treatment (which is different from the Brazilian Keratin treatment). I'll be anxious to hear how your treatment goes.

Coastalnc, what were the results like for the 90 minute version? Does it basically defrizz your curls, or does it straighten?

zaralia.... I was not really impressed. I had been reading about it for weeks before I had it done and all the hype was that you would have "frizz free" hair even in the highest humidity. Your hair is supposed to be smooth, shiny and easily managed. My hair is still very frizzy in this humid weather. Don't think I would pay that kind of $$ to have it done again. However, I would be interested to know how the other treatment works out for those who have tried it (that would be the Keratin treatment, where you have to wait 4 days to wash it).

Ok, so I called around & the going in rate around Cary/Apex seems to be $100.00 an hour ( it should take 2-3 hours). One Salon seemed really nice over the phone & I liked their website. But..... I am still in NY & leaving this weekend for NC & I found a place by me that is having a special for $150.00. I though it would be cheaper to have it done in NC but I think there is so much competition in NY that most places offer specials. So in one hour I am having the Rejuvenol Brazilian Keratin Treatment. I know alot of people that did this specific one & loved the results & said it lasts 6 months. I'll post an update! Thanks for the responses.
