I have a 6 yo son and want to start him in some sort of martial arts. I want something local Holly Springs/Apex area. I know there are a number of places but would like feedback on them. I want something to help instill discipline but also where he can have fun. Any suggestions?

There is a new school at the Harris-Teeter shopping center at 55 and Avent Ferry. My nephew attends and likes it. I think it is the standard TKD style IIRC.

I attend the Yong-in School of martial arts near the Harris Teeter. It is a great school and they work us hard...teach discpline and we have fun! I heard a kid there (~11yo) who is a black belt say, "I don't remember it being this hard". He was talking about how hard the teacher works us compared to other schools. And even though he pushes us, he also takes into account the level you are on and does not try to push you past your personal level. I love it!
