Yah, but what I really want, more than just a list, is reviews. How does a newcomer to the scene of building find out which builders are reputable, or even which build in your price range?

You can do some research on the internet. You can find a lot of information on this board. if you go back through the pages, you will find a lot of information. You can also talk with a realtor. I have a good realtor, if you want to contact her for specific information.
