OK, first, disclaimers ...I have not been in a long long time (except for dinner), and do not know if it's cool or if it gets a crowd, but Tony's Oyster Bar in McGregor Village has good food and their calendar shows that a band called Crush is playing there starting at 10:30. Their playlist looks like a lot of 70s stuff. Probably not exactly dance music but with enough cocktails, any music can be dance music I guess.

I'm afraid your Cary nightclub choices are extremely limited. Better to go downtown Raleigh.

^^ I've been to the latenight scene at Tony's Oyster bar once. It is a packed meat market for the 40+ plus crowd. Not my scene. If you are in you 20's or 30's I would pass on it and make the drive to Raleigh. Eat, drink, dance = Solas in DT Raleigh.

I think you need to post a pic to back up your claim, and then we can offer better advice. What kind of dancing do you want to do? Country, Salsa, clubbing, etc?

Who even uses the term "smoking hot" anymore?

And I agree that the OP needs to specify what dancing this "smoking hot" girlfriend would like to do.

It is humor referencing Rev. Joe Nelms, for what he said in prayer at the start of a race and it was a big hit. Everyone was laughing.

The topper: thanking Jesus for his "smokin' hot wife." Amen to that.
