I've lived in Cary Park for 4 years+. We love it. Here's why-
Location-unbeatable. It was tough in 2003 when there was nothing around us, but everything is filling in nicely. 10 minutes to Southpoint, 15 to RDU (yet much quieter flightpath-wise than Cameron Pond, Carpenter Village, etc.)

The wide mix of housing types brings in a variety of demographics-we have friends of all ages and household types.

The Club is really a great asset-it was instrumental in making friends as newcomers, and we are involved in quite a few events all througout the year-they have great holiday parties and such. There is also a bar with full permits, something you don't find in any other neighborhood in Cary.Check out the club website at Cary Park Club

The Town Center will be open by the end of the year-it will add a ton of convenience and probably will help home values in the neighborhood as well.

It's a great place to call home.

They seem to be starting prices much higher in Cary Park.

They are also only offering two models in the Camden. Base price is 157,500 for one. The other I think is 160.

We are closing on a house in Cary Park on Monday. We are very excited. We started our search very broad and looked at many homes and neighborhoods in Wake Forest, North Raleigh, Holly Springs, and Apex as well as Cary. My husband works in RTP so ultimately it came to location, location, location. There were things we liked about many of the neighborhoods and homes in all the areas we explored and being able to get a brand new home with all the bells and whistles further out was very tempting, but in the end, you just can't beat a 12 minute commute to work. Never mind all the other positives about Cary Park like the lake, the club, the pools, the different house styles and sidewalks, etc. The house we picked is a nice craftsman style. Is it on a much smaller lot than anything we are used to? Yes, but the yard is fenced in and flat and is just enough room for our toddler and dog to run around. The house has some nice details on the inside. Is it brand new? No, but its only a couple of years old and we liked the paint colors the previous owners chose so its one less thing we have to do. Was it more than we wanted to pay? Yes, but so was everything in Cary. Does it have granite? No. But we can always change the countertop. We wouldn't be able to change my husband sitting in traffic instead of being home with us each night if we had picked a house further out. It all depends what is most important to you and what your needs are. Best of luck with your search! We have heard nothing but great things about Cary Park and can't wait to move in!

The quality is hit or miss, as most mass producers. My neighbors had a ton of problems, where I had very little concerns before I sold.
