church recommendations in Raleigh (Cary, Apex: home, school, vacation)

I am looking for a small or medium size church that has some traditional
features, with a Bible teaching & hate the sin & love the sinner mindset.

What I miss are potlucks, car washes, Christmas plays, vacation bible school, Wed night dinners , Youth fund raisers. Those type things.

Check out Connections Church at Raleigh Churches - Non-denominational: Connections Church - Raleigh, Cary, Apex to see if it has the feel you are looking for. It is in the medium size church category (less than 500 in attendance is the broad definition).

There are videos of the Sunday teaching on the website to see if it is of the style that you will be spiritually fed.

Connections is very much a "community-minded" church - meaning most of the members really enjoy getting together -- not just a Sunday morning gathering place.
