When I first moved to the Triangle in 1995, it was very hard to find Apartments that allowed dogs. I'd venture to guess less than 20% did. Now, you can't find one that doesn't. And so many residents have dogs. Every place I visited and toured was covered in dog poo. No one cleans up. My sisters place every in Wilmington is easily the worst I ever ever seen. You don't dare walk on the grassy areas, it's a minefield. I just moved into an apartment for the first time in over 15 years, and must say the dog poo issue is still major, signs and baget dispensers everywhere....and so is the poop....everywhere.
that's sad. Our neighborhood has tons of dogs and dog poop bins/bags available. I almost never see dog poop out and everyone with dogs seems to pick it up. But there is one lady who doesn't. She also lets her dog pee all over kids' toys in yards. There's always a bad apple...
That has never been a problem in my neighborhood here. The beach(Cherry Grove) however not so good. I actually saw my neighbor recently scoop up her dog's poop and drop it over the fence into her neighbor's yard! Just let me catch her throwing poop in my backyard
