We're moving out of Hedingham (THANK GOD!) and into our first owned house in 2 weeks so we'll pretty much be losing our babysitters. We're ok with mature teens (age 15 and up, probably). Rate we're willing to pay depends on age and experience, up to $10/hour.

We're moving off Mitchell Mill Road and Forestville Rd.

Thanks! (hint: since I'm interested in Halloween event per my other post, we are looking for a babysitter for Oct 28th from about 8pm-1am)

I have friends who have called the seminary in wake forest and they have a list of babysitters. Some are students, some are wives of students who are willing and able to babysit. We have had luck with kids in the neighborhood, but that will all depend on your new neighborhood I guess! I also know that you can try babysitters.com

hopefully this will help a little!

SillyLeo,

I do not think you are far from me at all then. I am living on the no. raleigh / wake forest road. If you ever need a babysitter get in touch with me. I could use some money to save for our first mortgage PM if you want to talk.

Anyone else interested in babysitting? I'd really like to find a handful of people cause as it is right now, the few I have never seem to be available when I need them

Anyone, anyone at all? Anyone with high school or college kids?? As long as they're responsible, I don't mind younger babysitters.

Default Babysitters you will be pleased with

Take a look at www.sitterconnection.net
Great babysitters 18 years and older. Mostly dependable college students in Raleigh. Amanda has done a great job with this service. Highly recommended! The membership for $39 is a deal.

I know a _great_ babysitter (actually, they're triplets, so usually one is available, although the son is the one who my kids bonded with instantly.) who I completely trust. They are 17, they drive, and they are the most polite young adults you'll ever meet. I think they charge $7 or $8 an hour. pm me, and I can get you info - I don't feel comfortable giving children's information out over the internet.
