As a mother, I would avoid doing anything that would make this information go public and embarrass my children.

More on this saga in the N&O today:

Goldman filed police complaint at board meeting - Wake County - NewsObserver.com

Why is it that Goldman files a police report every time she feels the least bit slighted? This particular complaint arises out of some heated exchanges regarding the firing of Tata:

Quote:
In an interview Tuesday, Prickett said that at the closed-session discussion Sept. 24 on firing Tata, Sutton had told the GOP members that he and the Democratic members were “going to kick your asses.” The next day, Prickett said, Sutton got out of his seat, leaned over toward Goldman, clenched his fists and loudly said to her, “Shut the (expletive) up!”
But I do have to admit I find Keith Sutton's response to this matter to be offensive. Obviously I wasn't in those closed door meetings, so I don't know anything more than what is in the article, but to somehow claim that Goldman's complaint is racially motivated seems ridiculous. Must everything be about race? Maybe it's not because you're Black; maybe it's just because you were an (expletive) [and because Goldman ain't quite right].

Quote:
“Don’t you think it would be awfully weird for someone to yell at someone to ‘shut up’ and it be completely unprovoked?” Sutton said Wednesday. “If I am the only one that is singled out, but clearly through her comments and emails that others were engaged in similar behavior, does it not occur to you that this may be racial?”

Sounds like they're both being idiots. Sutton for acting unprofessional and then trying to pull the race card. Goldman for filing a freaking police report because someone was being unprofessional.

Amen! Looks like Goldman overreacted by making a complaint to the PD, but Sutton's behavior was not acceptable. (He hasn't denied it so I'm assuming that it is was indeed what he said.) Just unreal.

I sadly look forward to my daily installments of "As the Board Turns". It would be funny if it weren't so pathetic.
They're all starting to loose it. They're almost making Tedesco looking like one of the sane ones.

Looking like we'll have Goldman and Tedesco sticking around after all.

I considered voting for them just to get them off the school board but couldn't bring myself to do it.
