Any open gym to play basketball in evenings close to South Durham? (Chapel Hill: chapel)

Brier Creek Park and Community Center open-gym is not open till mid March. Any other indoor place I can go with my son to shoot basketballs? I am looking for a place not too far from South Durham.

All the places I know of and go to are not really places you can go with your son to just shoot around. They are more pick-up games type with young to grown men. Maybe the Parks and Rec by Central, behind that Burger King. they have a court I rarely see anyone on when I took my daughter there for swimming lessons.

Another option is that Durham Public Schools rents out their gyms for $25 an hour I believe. Also Hoop City U in RTP is available and I'm sure can work with you.

There are good indoor pickup games Tuesday from 7p-9p and Sundays from 9a-12p. Non members pay $10. Location is at the JCC off of Cornwallis road in Durham. Great facility and courts.
