The one chicken plant in Pittsboro I can locate is JBF Processing at 2305 Jay Shambley Rd. That is 13 miles west from a Green Meadow Court address. I doubt you would have a smell from 13 miles, even when the wind is right.
However, I hope someone living closer gives you an answer.
The real problem I had with the plant when it was open was in the dead of winter, when the leaves were off trees I could hear the condencers running and the truck backing up. It realling is a nice place to live.
"The equipment in the Pittsboro plant will be auctioned off, and Rabin’s group has entered into an agreement to sell 534 acres of land on which the plant sits to Cary-based Preston Development. Preston is accumulating land for Chatham Park, a massive new business and residential park it is planning in Pittsboro."
Dr. Goodnight is not in the chicken processing business. This is excellent news for the Potterstone residents$$ We may get a datacenter now, but they don't smell.
