I was in the antique hand tools shop above Underhill's workshop in Pittsboro sometime in 2019. In his class, students do not make full-sized caskets. Probably to save $$ on hardwood and space restrictions. Anyway, I remember walking up to that shop and seeing about 10 small baby caskets. It was pretty unsettling. I asked Ed, shop owner, what was that about and he explained the casket class too me.

Also, if you are interested, there is a great write up about Ed's shop somewhere on the web. That movie with Leo Di Caprio -- the one he finally got an Oscar for (Reverend?) -- used his woodworking tools. Because, that's one of the few shops in the whole nation that carries stuff that would have been used during the time the movie was set.

Also, yes, PBS is pretty awesome.

The episode I recently saw Underhill was building a small coffin, with another half dozen or so under construction.

I like the change from UNC-TV to PBS North Carolina. It makes much more sense. I’m surprised it took this long.

Check on your millennial friends/family/peers who grew up in Cary/Western Wake in the 90s/2000s....... we've lost Cary Towne Center and Jellybeans all in the same week.

At least the memories of all of the awkward first dates and first kisses experienced and witnessed can't be taken away from us!

What happened to Edward Teach-Stede Bonnet on CD? Some others seem to be gone too.
