I will agree that even though its not an allergen for most, per se, the yellow pine pollen is almost like sand, it can definitely irritate the eyes and nose.

I also noticed this year that I seemed to get allergy symptoms a little earlier than usual. Typically, right about when the Pine slows down is when I get bothered, this year, it was just before. Not sure if the weather affects different trees in different ways?

This has been the most anti-climactic pine pollen season. I've seen much worse. Looks like we lucked out w/ the yellow menace. I can't say much for allergies though...I got nada.

I still see a decent amount on my car each day, but it does seem like the storm hit at the perfect time and had enough force to actually knock some down out of the trees too.

Whatever is floating around right now is trying to kill me.

I see less of the green stuff, so it operates in stealth.

I used to really suffer from pollen in spring. I started regularly putting local honey in my tea. I'm telling you, it works. I have had no problems for the last several years.

Have you lived here long? This year was cake compared to previous years where it comes in waves (think multiples of the strongest day this year), and doesn't go away for many weeks.
