We use Fisher Vet on Gresham Lake Road near Capital Blvd/I-540.

The facility seems like it is older and doesn't have the wow factor like Suite Paws or places like that, but the areas where the animals are kept, etc is very clean. They are also cheaper than the other places but the main reason we go there is the staff is incredibly nice to our dog and Dr. Fisher is "on-site."

They always say to stop by a kennel un-announced and ask them to show you around. (So you can see how clean things really are during normal times. Don't let them spruce the place up before you come over.) We did that and were satisfied with what we saw.

Our last dog died a year ago at the age of 15 and she needed insulin shots and special care the past few years of her life. Whenever we went away we felt comfortable leaving the dog there as Fisher Vet could handle anything we needed and didn't nickel and dime us to death. Dr. Fisher is also a great vet who was very caring towards our dog and performed several surgeries for us over the years. (They also provided whatever we needed to get reimbursed on our pet insurance claims.)

We just got a new dog 2 months ago and will be using Fisher Vet for sure.

I run a house cleaning business and one if my clients boards dogs in his home. I have also used him on my past vacations. His house is suited for this, fenced back yard. He is retired and this is his supplemented income. He seems to have great relationships with many owners and their dogs. I have seen up to 4 dogs there at one time but never more. I use him because its like the dogs are still home. No crates and hospital feel. If you are interested please dm me for his info. I'm not sure if he openly advertised. He is located off Capital blvd toward dwntwn. Close access to wade ave via airport. In fact one of his clients is a flight attendant who uses him often on a weekly basis.

Wag n Woof Inn is awesome! The owner offers two options, your own house sitting or board with her. Our Standard Poodle LOVES spending time there and I absolutely love owners Natalie and Dave. Very cool, very accomodating. I can say enough great things........ I suggest setting up a meet and greet with them and seriously you will be convinced right then and there it's where and who you want taking care of your furry family member. VERY reasonable pricing. Very.
