That was the prettiest snow I ever saw with all the colors blooming against a covering of snow. I took a drive out in the country to take it all in.

It's warm all the way up the East Coast this week, 60s-70's in DC, 50s-70s in Phila., 40s-60s in New York and Boston. It's even in the 60s in Chicago this week with an expected high of 70 on Wednesday! It's a pretty warm winter so far lots of places. No complaints from me!

I must admit that I am enjoying these lovely spring-like days, but I don't want the weather to stay this way. If it's this warm in February, what will the summer be like? We'll all melt! Plus, the bugs!

No, let's just call this a February thaw, revel in it, then get back to a little seasonal cold weather with all its bug-killing, tulip-enhancing, bud-setting benefits!

It'll get cold again, but might not be too cold. Maybe 50s for highs. Hopefully not 40s or 30s.

I agree with u a 100%. One reason why we want to leave this area. We like the 4 seasons. I think it's more of a 2 season here. I like to see more of fall and winter, just NOT 2 weeks of each. I think we're in the wrong area. We have been living here for 10 years and summers are brutal. We are looking to move, I don't think we could last through another humid hot summer.

Geez....what keeps you here as you sound so full of indecisiveness and regrets.

I definitely do not regret anything. It's an experience... We had many happy moments here. We loved it at first, but working in the hot weather is terrible. We moved here for a better life, but we realized the summers are so long and way too hot for us. We are lucky enough that we could transfer to other locations when the time comes. However, this is just one reason why we would like to move. We miss our families too.

If it never got below 60 again I'd be in heaven. Don't need that cold stuff here at all. Bring back the 80s!

If it didn't ever get below 60 again you'd be taking your vacations to snowy places
