I may have said this earlier in the thread, but it's a few years old and I'm too lazy to look. Maybe it's the New England in me, but there's something about eating ice cream in the middle of a strip mall that just isn't right or fun. If I had the money I would buy some land just over the Wake/Chatham line, get some goats, get some cows, set up some games like cornhole, and sell amazing ice cream. And it would be hugely popular and I could finally quit my awful day-job and semi-retire.

Ah....dreams.

But seriously, Sunni Skies is unfortunately the closest thing around to a legit ice cream stand.

Love it..
In Durango back 30 years ago we ate pizza at a place like that. Kids all playing games, salad from the garden on site. Have never forgotten that place.

Richardson’s and Kimball’s were my spots in the Boston area.

Goodberry's in North Durham (Roxboro Road, by Chik-Fil-A and Zaxby's) is good. More of a frozen custard thing, but very yummy. They might have other Triangle locations as well.

Where was Richardson’s? Is that the one in Chelmsford?

Looks like Sunni Sky's web hosting account lapsed or is underfunded.

That’s funny it must’ve happened overnight, I was just in there last night.

Richardson's is in Middleton just north of Danvers/Peabody. It's by far the best ice cream stand in the Boston area if you're looking for a farm type feel.

If you're looking for something south of the city, Ice Cream Barn near Fall River is the best place on that side of the Greater Boston area.

If you're ever in the city itself and in Cambridge, Toscanini's by Kendall Square is the best ice cream store in Boston.

I also now have a weird craving for a hoodsie cup.......
