My husband and I are traveling from NY and we're looking for the absolute best fried chicken in the Raleigh/Durham area. I did a ton of research and settled on Beasley's. Thoughts?

Beasley's isn't bad - if you'd consider korean fried chicken, check out Soo Cafe haha

Believe it or not, Smithfield's Chicken and Barbecue has some of the best fried chicken around.
Barbecue is so so.

Beasley's is okay, but since I'm from Louisiana, Popeye's is the standard I hold all fried chicken too.

This might be blasphemous, but I find Bojangles really salty.
