Is it just me or do people not understand how to make a left turn around here? It seems like every day I pull up to a stop line and see someone coming barreling at me head on with a look of panic on their face. If you can't make your turn at the correct angle, you're probably going too fast.
That and people that can't hold their lane on a multiple-lane turn.
There are a lot of "set up to fail" intersections around here.. That is...the gradient and angle makes it so that people in the opposite-side left-turning lanes; block the view of oncoming traffic. It's a lose-lose situation.
The worst example I can think of is the intersection of 55 and Olive Chapel/Hunter Street. I have to turn left onto Hunter Street from 55 every time I go to visit my mom's house and unless there's the very rare instance of no north-bound traffic on 55 or the even rarer instance of a green arrow......It's pretty scary.

That's different. I'm talking about people making a left turn and cutting the corner of the lane in the opposite direction of the lane they're turning into. Often someone will pull up to a stop line and nearly collide with someone making a lazy left.
