I admit, I did buy bottled water when we had the last major hurricane come through. I still have some Acqua Panna. And I did buy a small shortwave/weather radio.
I like bottled water too. Keep dozens of them in the fridge all the time. Just grab one and go. I have #8 32 bottle packs in the garage now.
Was aiming to leave for MA on Friday night or Saturday after my daughter tracks out, for a couple of weeks....guess we’ll see how those plans are impacted.
Bottled water is terrible for the environment. Sorry, not sorry. It's true.
Yep even if recycled. Think of the resources involved in getting the oil to make the plastic, producing the bottle, shipping it, collecting it, shipping it yet again to get recycled and finally recycling it.
All of that can be fixed by the first word in the three R's...reduce, reuse, and recycle.
But, we already know this person is pro environment and hates those evil people who don't want to see entire industries devastated by taxes on carbon.
I use a 35 oz bottle for water. It's plastic. I refill it 3x a day. A single bottle lasts a long time.
